Introduction
A cosy rural retreat nestling in the unspoilt countryside of the Cothi Valley, these three cottages are tastefully converted from an 18th Century Barn. The cottages are situated on the owners 43 acre farm just 2 miles from the village of Talley. They have private patios and shared use of the enclosed garden which has spectacular views over the pasture land and surrounding hills. There is stabling and grazing for visitors horses as well as a ménage and children will enjoy meeting the animals which include horses, goats, chickens and sheep.

Ffynnongreche is a charming base for exploring this beautiful area with walks straight from the cottage doors providing bounties in abundance for country lovers, bird watchers and serious hikers alike. The Black Mountains, Llyn Brianne and Carreg Cennen Castle are local beauty spots. The National Botanic Gardens, Dinefwr Park, Aberglasney Gardens and the beautiful sweeping stretches of sand on the Gower with its Heritage Centre, water sports and horse riding. Tourist attractions include the Devil’s Bridge, Dan yr Ogof Caves, the Roman Gold Mines, The National Wetland Centre, too many castles to mention them all and no fewer than three narrow gauge railways! The town facilities of Carmarthen, Swansea and Brecon are all easily accessible and for the more leisurely past time there is Salmon and Trout fishing locally as well as golf courses to choose from.

All three cottages are comfortably furnished with chintz and pine furnishings giving a warm, country feel. They are equipped to a high standard providing crockery, glassware, cutlery, cooking and baking utensils, as well as washing machines and microwaves. Bath mats, table mats, high chairs, cots, stair gates and fresh bed linen are all provided. (Towels are available for overseas visitors). There is also a TV and video and CD Radio Cassette player in each cottage. A shared gas barbecue is available upon request.

Directions
From Llandeilo take the A40 signed Llandovery, turn left onto B4302 signed Talley. Go through the village of Talley and after approx 1.5 miles, immediately after the junction with the B4337 (Llandsawel), turn right into farm lane signed Parc Mawr. Ffynnongrech is the third property on the left approx 0.50 mile up the lane.
