Introduction
Gently wake up to wonderful views of our lush countryside, grazing cows and the scent of sizzling bacon in the farmhouse kitchen. Glascoed, our family run dairy farm is a ten minute drive west of Carmarthen , just off the A40 London, Fishguard road, amidst the beautiful countryside of the Carmarthenshire/Pembrokeshire border. The Garden Cottage is a recently converted ground floor family room, adjoining the main house. Tastefully furnished in pine furniture, an additional bed can be added to sleep a family of 4. It has a pretty en-suite bathroom, with bath and shower with all amenities. A spacious room with an ‘olde worlde' ambiance, with views of the garden and our tree lined country lane. The Melrose Room is the oldest part of the house and is full of charm and character. Imaginatively furnished in antique pine furniture with comfort in mind. It has an en-suite shower room and views of the garden and the 11 th century parish church in the distance. Start the day with a hearty Welsh breakfast served in the attractive guests dinning room. Packed lunches prepared on request. Glascoed Farmhouse Bed & Breakfast is an excellent base for touring South & West Wales, from Carmarthenshire's countryside full of myth's and legends to the spectacular Pembrokeshire coastline. We are conveniently situated for the Irish Ferry crossing at Fishguard & Pembroke - approx. 40 min's. Cardiff and its impressive Millennium Stadium are just over 1 hour drive.
