Introduction
A warm welcome awaits you at Plas Farmhouse, which is a family
run dairy farm in a quiet rural setting. It offers spacious
bedrooms with colour TV and welcome tray and all rooms are
en suite. It is an ideal touring base, a short drive to the
coast and Dylan Thomas Boat House at Laugharne. You can play
a quiet round of golf nearby or for the more adventurous there
is Oakwood Leisure Park. There are many craft centres and
historic places of interest. For garden lovers, Aberglasney
(30 mins drive) and The National Botanic Garden of Wales (25
mins drive) at Middleton Hall are well worth a visit. There
are a choice of restaurants and inns for evening meals.
Plas is conveniently situated off the A40 midway between Carmarthen
and St Clears, en route and only an hour's drive from the
ferries to Ireland at Pembroke Dock and Fishguard.
Directions
From Carmarthen take A40 west towards St Clears for 5 and
a half miles, turn left, sign posted Llangynog. Plas farm
is situated half a mile along this road on the left-hand side.
